Eyebrow Pictorial!

Welcome back! Today's blog I'll be showing you guys how I color in my eyebrows in my everyday makeup routine using the NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Brunette.

First, you want to comb through your brow hairs with a spoolie or disposable mascara wand. I just use the spoolie that comes in my NYX brow powder kit.

Then, I dip my small angled brush into the darker brow powder and line the bottom of my eyebrow, creating it's shape.

Using the same brush and powder, I do the same to the top of my brow.

Grabbing more powder, I fill in between the lines in small, short strokes. Be careful not to fill in all of the brow, and leave the small portion towards the inner most part of the brow bare.

Then I take the same brush and dip it into the lighter brow powder. Flipping my brush sideways, I fill in the rest of my brow with a light hand.

To ensure my brows are crisp and clean looking, I take a small concealer brush and a cream concealer, 2-3 shades lighter then my skin tone. I use my BH Cosmetics 10 Color Camouflage Concealer Palette. I apply the concealer across the bottom and top of my brow. This will also give your brows a highlight, accentuating your arch.

Make sure to blend out the concealer with your brush or finger. To seal it all together, I run my Tarte Amazonian Colored Clay Tinted Brow Gel through my brows to keep my hairs in place all day.

And we're all done! I hope this was helpful for you guys. Until next time! :)

Fresh Spring Eyes!

Happy April everyone!! And welcome back! I am so happy winter is officially over and I thought this week would be the perfect time to show you all a fresh, spring, eye makeup look. I kept it very natural, soft and easy, I hope you enjoy! :)

First, i always start off priming my eyes. Today I used MAC's paint pot in Painterly

Then, I took the shade Cream from my Lorac Pro Pallet, and patted that on my brow bone with a medium sized shader brush.

I then took MAC's eyeshadow in Cork, and applied that to my crease and outer-v, using a medium sized blending brush. It is important to use a light hand during this step, going in circular and swiping motions.

Taking a large shader brush, I packed on MAC's eyeshadow in Expensive Pink all over my lids.

To open up and brighten my eyes, I applied MAC's eyeshadow in Shroom to the inner corners of my eyes with a small shader brush.

To ensure everything is blended, I took a clean, very large blending brush and went in circular motions all around the color Cork that I placed in the crease.

Eyeshadow is finished! Then I put Maybelline's gel liner in Brown on my top lash line. I used a small angled brush, slightly winging it out.

To brighten up my eyes even more, I applied a nude colored pencil liner to my water line.

And to finish it all up, I applied my favorite mascara at the moment, Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes!

The finished look!

Until next week! XOXO

Recent Makeup Favorites!

Hi loves, welcome to my blog! I can't wait to share all of my beauty tips, tricks and treats with all of you! :) For my first post I decided to show you guys my recent makeup favorites. These are 10 products I have fallen in love with in the past few months and they are all too amazing to keep to myself!

Make Up Forever HD Foundation - This gets A LOT of love from everyone so I finally splurged for this foundation and now I understand the hype of this product. First off, the pump on the bottle is a major plus for me; it just makes life a lot easier. The coverage is medium but definitely buildable. It gives my skin a glow that I LOVE and lasts all day long. Definitely a high end foundation favorite of mine.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup - An old drugstore foundation favorite of mine. I have been using this on and off for the past couple of years. I wear it to work or just for more casual makeup days. It's a great inexpensive dupe for NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. I like to wear it more in the winter time when my skin is more dry because it gives me a nice dewy finish.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles - Again, another product I keep going back to. Amazing coverage for those pesky dark circles. It brightens up my under-eyes and does not crease at all. I really like the sponge applicator, it makes application smooth and easy.

NYX Brow Cake Powder in Brunette - This stuff lasts me ALL DAY LONG. Seriously, it does not budge until I wipe it off with a makeup removing wipe. I also like that it gives you two colors so I can use the lighter color for the beginning of my brows. The wax it comes with is nice as well, keeping my brow hairs in place all day.

Tarte Amazonian Colored Clay Tinted Brow Gel - This is a great product for those of you who don't go all out with filling in your brows. If you want a more natural eyebrow look just comb this lightly through your brows and it coats the hairs giving you a touch of definition. I keep this in my kit for brides who don't wear a lot of makeup on a day to day basis and want to keep their face looking as natural as possible.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara - As I'm sure many of you are, I am very picky about what mascara I use. I can not say enough good things about this mascara. Tarte claims it is a 4-in-1 (lengthening, curling, volumizing, and conditioning) mascara and I have to agree. It doesn't give me spider and clumpy lashes, it gives the perfect amount of length and volume.

Lorac Pro Palette  - This palette is very well loved and it shows! I use it almost everyday and a lot more frequently than my naked palettes. Whats great about the pro palette is it has 8 matte shadows and 8 shimmery shadows so you can use the palette alone. I use it on basically all of my bridal clients. All of the shadows are incredibly pigmented and long lasting.

Benefit's Hoola Bronzer - A very popular product for good reasons. It is a great matte bronzer for contouring and sculpting out your face. It applies easily and does not streak. Perfect contour shade; not too orange or muddy.

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso - A gorgeous peachy blush with just enough shimmer to give your cheeks a healthy glow. It its complementary to all skin tones but especially I have found, on tanned skin.

NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu - A good everyday "your lips but better" lip gloss. I love the smell of all NYX lip glosses, they smell like vanilla sugar cookies! It goes on smooth like butter (hence the name). Great for brides as well.
